About Shogi

Shogi is a strategy board game based on the rules of Japanese chess.

Play against another person on the same device or start a match against the bot. Plan your moves on a traditional 9 × 9 board, capture opposing pieces, and return captured pieces to the game under your control.

Main features:

• Player vs Player mode; • Player vs Bot mode; • two bot difficulty levels; • traditional 9 × 9 shogi board; • complete piece sets for Sente and Gote; • capture opponent pieces; • drop captured pieces back onto the board; • promote eligible pieces; • clear turn indicator; • separate captured-piece areas for both players; • undo the previous move; • review the complete move chronicle; • quickly restart or configure a new match.
